We genuinely hope this website is
helpful to you in learning more about the Dental Treatment Center, various dental conditions
and treatment options, dental recommendations, and more.
Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with the personalized, gentle care that you deserve.
We are a Full-Service Quality Dental Center with a bilingual (English & French) staff.
Part of our commitment to serving our patients in Brussels and Belgium includes providing information that helps them to make more informed decisions about their oral health needs. This website created by Brussels dentists practicing at the Dental Treatment Center is a resource we hope you’ll find both useful and interesting.
The Dental Treatment Center
consists of several general and specialized dentists, and a team of
dental assistants. Some of our Experts are University Professors.
The founder of our Dental
Center is a licensed dentist in Belgium since 1990 but is also a
licensed dentist in California and has been lecturing on periodontics
(gum and bone disease) and surgical/prosthetic aspects of implant
dentistry in many countries and has thus brought the most up-to-date
services to our patients.
The Dental Center has been
catering for over 14 years for both Belgian and International patients,
most of which communicate in English.
Because of our excellent
reputation, most of our patients get to us by the word of mouth.
Our unique location at the
immediate vicinity of the European Institutions, makes it very
convenient for a large number of patients to walk to our Center to get
treatment during the day without having to take a day off to go to
dental offices far away.
Indeed, we are located
in front of Parc Cinquantenaire, 100 meters from Rond-Point Schuman, at
the end of Rue de la Loi.
In case you could not walk
to our Center, you could reach us easily by public transport: several
buses and Metro (Schuman Station).
If you are driving by
car, you could use the free parking lot in the Parc Cinquantenaire all
day long. Indeed, there are plenty of parking spaces: take the 'Avenue
des Nerviens' and enter by the 'Musées, Museum' Entrance. Drive beyond
the big Arch and park your car. Our office is located in the building in
front of the Parc 100 meters away.
We could send you by email the directions to
reach our Dental Center. All you have to do, is to send us an email
request: brusselsdentistry@gmail.com
We are a dental practice
devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile
using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures that will result in
beautiful, long lasting smiles!
High Standards
A standard of excellence in
personalized dental care enables us to provide the quality dental
services our patients deserve. We provide comprehensive treatment
planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your
optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every
effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.
Education &
Prevention
As
a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education
are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental
health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams –
checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral
cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary.
Not
only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned
about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay
informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses
that may impact your dental health.
THE
MAIN CAUSE OF TOOTH LOSS IN ADULTS IS PERIODONTAL DISEASE (commonly
known as gum disease).
However,
most patients think that the main cause of tooth loss is cavities
(caries).
Four
out of five people have periodontal disease and don’t know it! Most
people are not aware of it because the disease is usually painless in
the early stages.
Not
only Periodontal Disease is the number one reason for tooth loss,
research suggests that there may be a link between periodontal disease
and other diseases such as, stroke, bacterial pneumonia, diabetes,
cardiovascular disease, and increased risk during pregnancy.
Researchers are determining if inflammation and bacteria associated with
periodontal disease affects these systemic diseases and conditions.
Smoking also increases the risk of periodontal disease.
Since
periodontal disease is painless, very few patients know about it and
very few dentists speak about it.
In
very few countries in the world, dentists get punished for not
informing their patients about the importance of periodontal disease. In
those countries, not informing a patient of a disease or a condition
is considered as a SUPERVISED NEGLECT in Dentistry. Unfortunately,
in most of the European countries, the vast majority of patients having
this painless gum and bone disease totally ignore the fact that they are
gradually losing their teeth even though they go to their dentists for a
checkup or cleaning once or several times a year.
Uncompromising
Safety
Infection
control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our
patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross
contamination processes using standards recommended by the American
Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Training
&
Expertise
As
your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing
that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians. We pride
ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. To

products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can
utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of
various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of
the changes and recommendations for our profession.
